The BEC Ipswich Region Inc (BECIR) offers four different levels of membership for the home based, micro or small business owner; Ordinary Membership, Client Membership, Associate Membership and Affiliate Membership. All levels enjoy a range of valuable benefits, which are reflected below.

Membership is open, whether you have a business right now, starting your own business or are thinking about starting your own business; everyone is welcome. Registering for membership of the BEC Ipswich Region takes just minutes and it will pay you back again and again.

The BECIR website is the one location you’ll find access to a vast range of business tools, information, articles, videos, free software tools, free online seminars and much more.

1. Client Member
Cost: $55.00 GST inclusive, per Financial Year

Registered Clients accessing small business assistance

Benefits:

  • Low cost Mentoring and Business Advice
  • Access to low cost workshops and training
  • One Free Networking event
  • $33 Discount on membership to Ipswich Chamber of Commerce & Industry (This only applies if you are not a member of the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce)
  • Directory listing on the BECIR Inc website which includes business contact details and a small business/service brief.

 

2. Affiliate Member
Cost: $155.00 GST inclusive, per Financial Year

Any business/organisation or individual representative aligned to the BECIR objectives wanting to affiliate themselves as a support partner – Includes up to three nominated representatives from any one entity

Benefits:

  • Directory listing on the BECIR Inc. Website which includes business contact details, business/service brief, business logo and continual hyperlink to your website
  • One Free Networking Event

3. Associate Member
Cost: $250.00 GST inclusive, per Financial Year

Professional Service Providers/Business Mentors selected as preferred suppliers – Includes one business/organization branch per membership and up to three representatives at events

Benefits:

  • Listed and promoted as preferred supplier to BECIR Inc.
  • Referral of BECIR clients where relevant and utilisation of services are required.
  • Directory listing on the BECIR Website which includes business contact details, business/service brief, business logo, continual hyperlink to your site and the opportunity to upload a video about your business.
  • Access to free joint press releases with the BECIR
  • Free access and Co-Branding/Marketing opportunities at all networking events/workshops
  • Promotional material included in BECIR client resource kits

4. Ordinary Membership (Members of the Committee with full voting rights)

Individual representatives must be nominated by a Business Associate &/or Professional Body and actively participate in the Management of the delivery of the BECIR objectives once selected by the Board.

  • Voting rights and opportunity for input into shaping the delivery of small business advisory services
  • Promotion of members service to the BECIR objectives including marketing material and website
  • Committee Membership and opportunity for election on Executive Board of Management (Numbers are Limited)
  • Free attendance to all Small Business Events/Workshops conducted by the BECIR or in attendance on behalf of the BECIR Inc.
