Let’s talk about key elements of entrepreneurial attitude or human behavioral change of small businesses.
It is important that you cannot be educated to be an entrepreneur nor are you born one, they are made. Many model themselves on others.
One key element is language, entrepreneurs no lets use Small Business, they use the positive all the time, there expectations are always in the positive, they cannot lose, this not arrogance. They use positive words as away to express themselves, and also, to encourage, empower and inspire others.
They also are very charismatic and can communicate well with others.
Now days we need to start to think like a business person and stop thinking like a self employed person.
Another element, small business people have a physiology about them, next time you see Dick Smith or Gerry Harvey being interviewed, even when things are bad they always are smiling, leaning forward and talking quickly when they describe something about their latest idea, they have passion to burn.
They are excited because they see things others do not and just want to get on with it. That is why they have people around them that can keep up with them when developing there ideas and doing business plans.
The last element is BELIEFS. Business people have strong beliefs in their own ability to succeed and are willing to give things a go, risk takers. They may fail, almost all successful people have failed at some stage in their endeavors. It is the wise business person, who listens and gets mentored by others who have experienced failure, as failure at a business task can be used as a learning curve. It helps the business off to another direction.
Business Planning helps to minimize risks and helps your thought process.
When we go on a holiday we plan how long it will take, the cost, and what if something goes wrong - Will I need extra dollars for it??
Why not do this for your business using the above elements in the thought process.
